How to Hook, Step, Stand
Using the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool might feel like learning to surf—it takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it’ll make getting out of your wetsuit much easier. Follow these steps for a smooth experience:
-
Hook
our patented hook above your shoulder line, glove, or bootie
-
Step
on the bottom or secure it around something with our multi-use carabiner
-
Stand
and let the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool seamlessly peel off your wetsuit, glove, or bootie
Step by Step
-
1. Adjust the Wetsuit Wrench™ Tool to Your Height
Before getting started, ensure the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool is properly adjusted. Stand straight with your foot on the leash of the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool. The base of the hook should sit just above your wrist when your arms are relaxed at your sides.
-
2. Prepare Your Wetsuit
Get your wetsuit down as far as you comfortably can without straining. Roll the neoprene down as far as you comfortably can to make the process easier.
-
3. Hook the Wrench Behind Your Tricep
Position the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool carefully. Hook it as far back as possible behind your tricep, aligning it with your elbow. Don’t step on the leash just yet.
-
4. Step on the Leash and Bend
Once the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool is hooked securely, bend down. Place your foot on the leash and get ready to stand.
-
5. Stand and Pull
Stand up at about a 45-degree angle, keeping the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool in position. As the tension starts to be taken onto the hook, gently pull your arm out of the wetsuit.
-
6. Ready to Get It
You're all set! Now use the Wetsuit Wrench™ tool to easily remove your gloves and booties. It's time to pack up and relax after an epic session.
